(POV: You’re in remote Baltistan on a trip and you end up on your hyped-up impromptu roleplay Mehndi Night with 75 Musafirs)
3Musafir hosted its 2nd chapter of SummerFest in Shigar, Baltistan this year. 75 carefully chosen Musafirs from the Musafir Community joined this weeklong stead of festivity. SummerFest is a signature flagship event in 3Musafirs' exotic events arsenal.
Each night in Shigar was a themed night(everyone followed it). After traveling across Baltistan in the daytime, nighttime was filled with comfortable-themed nights of festivity. We had the entire hotel to ourselves which after the decor team decorated, looked more like a castle from the magical realms of Harry Potter. But this year there was a twist in SummerFest.
The team planned a Bollywood night on the 3rd night in Shigar. Everyone got dressed in Desi attire and so the impromptu roleplay started. Everyone got in character. The vibe kept on building until there were two teams: The Bride Team & The Groom Team. 6 Musafir randomly made couples and got fully ready for their Mehndi Night. The vibes were immaculate. The hype was off the roof.
The 3 brides made their entry with their teams & performed the traditional Ludi Dance with Phul Jhariyan followed by the 3 grooms with their teams. The groom's side made their entry on Bhangra and Dhol Dhamaka. Coincidentally, most of the boys ended up wearing white desi attire with black shawls.
The Mehndi Rasm Night ended with the Bride Team getting their pockets filled at the Doodh Pilaye Game & the Groom Team at the Juta Chupaye Game.
All this time, the Milkyway was clearly visible above our heads but the play was going so strong that nobody even noticed once.
