Normalising Travel for Women in Pakistan has been a key pillar in our vision. At 3Musafir, we have worked tirelessly for over 3 years to turn this dream into a reality. Each of our events, a testament to our commitment, is carefully designed around our greater travel vision, which includes ensuring that solo female travellers feel safe and are encouraged to explore and experience more with us.

Our initiative, deeply embedded in the ethos of the Musafir Community, has marked a significant step towards gender equality and empowerment on a large scale. With a substantial initial investment of 250,000 PKR, we have successfully accommodated over 250 solo female travelers, setting a solid foundation for this groundbreaking movement. This initiative aligns closely with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), mirroring the goals of Musafir Community to promote inclusivity and sustainability in travel.

Most notably, we focus on gender equality, decent work, and economic growth, along with reduced inequalities and sustainable cities and communities. The Musafir Community has been instrumental in promoting these ideals through practical initiatives and inspiring storytelling.

The #twp hashtag, symbolizing “Travel For Woman in Pakistan,” represents this shift towards inclusive travel that we, alongside the vibrant Musafir Community, started 3 years ago. It has attracted significant traction, illustrating a growing community drive and a shift in societal perceptions about women traveling alone. The future of #twp, bolstered by the enthusiasm and support of the Musafir Community, looks promising, with increasing engagement and potential for even greater impact at scale.

Looking forward, we are ramping up our efforts by investing an additional 500,000 PKR, aiming to accommodate 500 more solo female travelers. This doubling down on our commitment not only demonstrates our belief in the vision but also paves the way for a substantial increase in the scale of our impact. The Musafir Community stands as a proud partner in this journey, contributing ideas, support, and a shared vision for the future.
